ABOUT WARREN GELL
I was born, and continue to live, in Ruislip. I joined HM Revenue & Customs directly from school and spent ten years working in Pinner and later Ruislip Tax Offices as a Revenue Assistant and Revenue Officer.
On 1st March 1996, I joined the Tax Department of Sproull & Co. for the commencement of the Self-Assessment regime as a Tax Assistant and, in May 1997, passed the Association of Taxation Technicians examinations (ATT). I progressed on to pass the Chartered Institute of Taxation exams (CTA) in November 1999. In May 2013, I became a Fellow of the ATT.
I became an Associate Tax Partner as of 1st January 2007 and an Equity Tax Partner in May 2010.
During my career I have gained experience in many areas of taxation, not least including:

National Insurance issues
Residency and Domicile matters
Self-Assessment
My hobby is Freemasonry, and I have previously acted as the Honorary Treasurer and Trustee of The Masonic Province of Middlesex Charitable Trust and the Honorary Treasurer of The Buckinghamshire Masonic Centenary Fund. Both charities make monetary donations to non-Masonic charitable and other good causes. In May 2024,
I was appointed as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master in Middx.
